Lugano forward Boyd Devereaux has suffered a potentially season-ending injury following a elbow check from Beat Forster. Forster was handed slapped with a two-game suspension by the league for his actions. Devereaux had just recently signed a contract extension until the end of this season despite only registering 4 points in 16 games.
